It was this light aqua blue (maybe I should call it aquamarine?), and yellow

They started the tearout by removing the cupboards, which I thought were perfectly fine, but I guess weren't.

And ended removing a whole wall (to the left of this shot)

On that wall they removed was several layers.
The top was the yellow paint.
Under that was this blah wallpaper. (In the upper left corner).

Then this lovely set: the top wall paper, the border and the bottom was painted.

Then another layer of paint followed by some cloth wallpaper.

Then another wall paper.

And finally this really paper-y wallpaper with a tiny print. It's super thin and just breaks apart rather than tears off in any way.

It kind of makes me dread the walls in other rooms.
